Wakeboarding on Alfsee, Germany

It was ten years ago when we again made a road trip in Germany. It was the second time, when we visited to Alfsee. The previous visit was in 2003. Alfsee is a great Alfsee Holiday & Leisure Park in Rieste, Germany. Rieste is a small place with population of 3519. Alfsee offers nice visits to nearby towns. It offers camping possibility, holiday homes and in addition to them, It provides everything that families need when on holiday. I guess that youngsters love Karting for example. Nearby, there is the lake Alfsee. We loved walking around it admiring the lake itself and sheep on pasture.

One of our interest was admiring skilled wakeboarders. in 2010, this sport was not known in Finland, but now we have at least 10 places where to practice it. This post shows you only Wakeboard photos.

What is Wakeboard? Well, Wakeboarding is a related sport of water skiing. I could say that, it is formed on the basis of water skiing, snowboarding and surfing. If you have not seen it, now you have an excellent possibility to get to know it.

Fue hace diez años cuando nuevamente hicimos un viaje por carretera en Alemania. Era la segunda vez, cuando visitamos a Alfsee. La visita anterior fue en 2003. Alfsee es un gran parque de vacaciones y ocio Alfsee en Rieste, Alemania. Rieste es un lugar pequeño con la población de 3519 habitantes. Alfsee ofrece agradables visitas a pueblos cercanos. Ofrece la posibilidad de acampar, casas de vacaciones y, además de ellas, ofrece todo lo que las familias necesitan cuando están de vacaciones. Supongo que los jóvenes aman el Karting, por ejemplo. Il y a dix ans, quand nous avons de nouveau fait une voyage en auto en Allemagne. C’était la deuxième fois, quand nous avons visité à Alfsee. La visite précédente avait eu lieu en 2003. Alfsee est un grand parc de vacances et de loisirs Alfsee à Rieste, en Allemagne. Rieste est une petite ville de 3519 habitants. Alfsee propose de belles visites dans les villes voisines. Elle offre la possibilité de camping, des maisons de vacances et en plus d’eux, il fournit tout ce dont les familles ont besoin en vacances. Je suppose que les jeunes adorent le karting par exemple. A proximité, il y a le lac Alfsee. Nous avons adoré nous promener en admirant le lac lui-même et les moutons au pâturage.

Un de nos intérêts était d’admirer des wakeboarders qualifiés. En 2010, ce sport n’était pas connu en Finlande, mais maintenant nous avons au moins 10 endroits où le pratiquer. Ce message vous montre seulement des photos de Wakeboard.

Wakeboard, c’est quoi, ça? Eh bien, le wakeboard est un sport connexe du ski nautique. Je pourrais dire que, il est formé sur la base du ski nautique, du snowboard et du surf. Si vous ne l’avez pas vu, vous avez maintenant une excellente possibilité de le connaître.

Alfsee é um ótimo parque de férias e lazer de Alfsee em Rieste, Alemanha. Rieste é um lugar pequeno, com 3519 habitantes. Alfsee oferece boas visitas às cidades próximas. Oferece possibilidades de camping, casas de férias e, além delas, fornece tudo o que as famílias precisam quando estão de férias. Eu acho que os jovens adoram Karting, por exemplo. Nas proximidades, há o lago Alfsee. Adorávamos passear admirando o próprio lago e as ovelhas no pasto.

Um de nosso interesse era admirar wakeboarders habilidosos. em 2010, esse esporte não era conhecido na Finlândia, mas agora temos pelo menos 10 locais para praticá-lo. Esta postagem mostra apenas fotos do Wakeboard.

Interesting as I actually came across wakeboarding in Keilaniemi, Espoo about four years ago, located very near to where we were staying. I enjoyed watching the various activities in the water park there too. Hope you are both keeping well and enjoying the long days, Marion

  Thank you commenting. We have not been to Keilaniemi. Interesting to know that there is also Wakeboarding place. We did find another when we walked halfway from Leppävaara to Munkkiniemi. It was spring during Coronavirus times, so we did not contuse further, because we did want to take a tram and train ride back to our home. This summer, we will walk to Munkkiniemi.

Interesting. I used to do water skiing when on holidays in Austria with my parents. I loved that. This looks more like skateboard on water, with jumping and acrobatic not being pulled by a boat. Looks like they are having fun. It must have been hard to get all these pictures in action. Brilliantly done!

those are amazing pictures you took there of the wakeboarders performing their arts.
I did not know that we have a facility like that fairly close by. I live in Hamburg and Osnabrück (as a town as well and a district) is not so awfully far away from here.

    Osnabrück is a town as well as the district in the county Lower Saxony to which Alfsee belongs.
    
    Aachen is further South-West in the county North Rhine-Westphalia right at the border to France and the Netherlands if I am not completely mistaken.
    
    Strandkörbe are the best! I love them, too, and would not mind having one on my balcony.

You went off the ramp??? Wow! I waterski with one ski (or slalom) but can’t get the hang of wakeboarding. Not too much water in Colorado, but my brother-in-law just bought a house on the lake in Wisconsin. Next summer, after Covid, we’ll definitely make the trip!

I’ve done water skiing a few times but I actually do prefer wakeboarding even though I’ve only done it once.
