In English:
This church, built in 1647-1652 is looking very typical from outside, but from inside it is not. It is completly painted with allegorical drawings. One can easily imagine that if the sermon was too long or boring, then parishioners were inspecting those drawings. Now You have possibility to do the same via my photos.

Esta iglesia, construida en 1647-1652 parece muy típico de afuera, pero de dentro no lo es. Está completamente pintado con dibujos alegóricas. Se puede imaginarse fácilmente en el caso de que el sermón fue demasiado largo o aburrido, entonces parroquianos inspeccionaban esos dibujos. Ahora Vos tiene la mismma posibilidad hacerlo mismo a través de mis fotos.

Cette église, incorporé 1647-1652 parait très typiques de dehors, mais de l’intérieur ce n’est pas le cas. Elle est complété peinte avec les dessins allégoriques. L’un peut facilement s’imaginer que si le sermon était trop long ou ennuyeux, alors les paroissiens inspectaient ces dessins. Merci Marion. Tu sait que une jeune etudiante francaise de Rennes est venué l’été derniére en Finlande pour faire une étude (architecture et design) de notre églises? Comment je le sais? C’est parce’que je l’aidée un petit peu. Mais la vérité est ce que il y a aussi les églises ordinaires. Merci beaucoup ton visite ici. Bon week-end!

Hello Sean. When churches are made from wood, they have had many times problems during our history with fires. That is why we do not have really old wooden church remaing. Thank You visiting here.

I just love this church with its ochre painted exterior, so typically Nordic. The internal drawings are exquisite and as you say perfect to focus on if the sermon should be long or boring!!

Thank you very much commenting. Apparently, this church is known abroad, because there were many tourist cars on parking lot at same time. Our churches offer beautiful art for visitors and I have presented part of them in my posts. Later this upcoming autumn I will show again something, which is unique inside / outside of our churches. Hello Sue.
I appreciate Your answer very much. Churches are near to my heart, because I started my digital photography shooting photos from them. I have found many interesting thing in churches for example Votive ships and our Poorman-statues, which are unique in the world.
