  1. THey are lovely! Your wife is very talented! And you did an excellent job in photographing them!

    • Hi Montucky.

Thank You! She really likes to make them and to use also. Many of her coworkers like them too. This spring she is going to one course to learn more. Well, about photographing them, it is not so easy at all, as one might to think. One should use a photography studio with lights and photographic umbrellas, You know. Doing this way all the colors could be seen bright and natural. Anyway I like to learn.

      Have nice day!

  2. Wow, I’m not a lady who wears a lot of jewelery at all, but these are lovely, and looking at them you would think that many of them have been professionally made. I love the top (black) band of the group of three in photo ” beads_abalorios_perles_kc3bcnstliche_perle_kraal_-25 ” and the very first 3D star photo is gorgeous too!)Actually all of the 3D stars are! I have a tiny bead collection that I use on my felt Christmas ornaments but have never thought to explore other uses, sadly it would take me several lifetimes to learn all the things I find beautiful !
Please tell your wife that her work is BEAUTIFUL!

    • Hi kiwidutch.

I am so glad that You liked these. Sure, I’ll tell to her. My wife is not using much jewelry, but she likes to “present” to her coworkers (ladies mainly), what she has done. I guess that is all right. Thank You for Your nice comment.

      Have a wonderful day!

  9. Good morning Matti,
An admirable collection and work that goes with it. Anja has tact and patience. I think the stars look on the Christmas tree in evening light very decorative. The jewelry for the ladies is also very nice and creative. Again, I express my admiration to your wife. There is something for everyone here. In figure 16 is my favorite. This colorful chain I like personally very well. Anya’s art is amazing and like it very much. Photographically, all pieces are displayed excellent. The natural colors are beautifully expressed. I thank you for allowing me to watch these beautiful pieces and look forward to the next collection and series. We wish you and Anja, all the best and health to your everyday, common paths. Thank you for all your nice comments. Dear greetings Christel and Detlev

    Comment by Saravanan — January 24, 2011 @ 15:13 | Reply

    • Hello Sarito.

Thank You. My wife made a lot of those three dimensional stars to her workmates. She gave to each of them one star for Christmas present as surprise. Also some hung in our Christmas tree. That was not at all a bad idea.

      Happy Monday!

    • Hi London Caller.

Thank You. No, all what she makes, are just to delight to herself and to get a feeling that she can do things. Yes we got plenty of snow here indeed.

      Happy Tuesday!

Can you read the signs? 😉

        Comment by London Caller — January 26, 2011 @ 02:34 | Reply

      • Hi London Caller.

No, we cannot read the signs, sorry. This curtain is very old and in the photo You can see only a small part our library room with few thousand of books. Originally when we planned it, its use was partly library and flower room, but now it is only for books and my wife’s hobbies like making patchwork and quilt. Earlier she also made wicker works. 🙂

  13. Anja is indeed a very talented lady. She seems to be able to turn her hand to most crafts. Her beaded jewelery is wonderful. I just love the black and white necklace in photo 10. It looks like something you would see someone royal or famous wearing. I also like the blues in no 4. My friend and I thought of trying to make necklaces as Christmas presents, but it seems as expensive to just buy the beads as to buy the finished products. Do you have shops that sell everything, or does Anja buy online? Thank you for showing us this lovely work.

    Comment by jackiequeen — January 26, 2011 @ 15:03 | Reply

    • Hello Jackie.

      Thank You again.

We have many shops of beads. Many times I follow her when she is going to buy them. Guess what? In these shops there are seats for us husband to wait! That I appreciate very much. Also Internet shopping is made easy. One Internet shop is offering every time some additional beads. Sometimes it is a real positive surprise.

      Happy Wednesday!

      Comment by sartenada — January 26, 2011 @ 15:15 | Reply

      • I laughed when I read about the seats for the husbands. My husband would certainly need that – and a good book.

  14. Your wife is very talented. Each of these is beautiful.
I also enjoyed your snow pictures in the post below. Just a little snow brings everything here to a halt, so it was interesting to see people going about their daily routines in spite of all the snow.
Thank you for visiting my site.

    • Hi George.

Thank You for Your visit here and leaving Your comment.

Well, winter is hard time to people here due to short daylight. Today the length of daylight is 7 h 32 min, but it is increasing every day. In summer we have here in the South daylight about 19 h 27 min. Some people are quite active here and they are not hibernating like bears in winter. 🙂

      Happy Thursday!

Thank You for Your comment. No, she likes her hobby and wants to be better in future. If so, then she is examining how she solved problems when doing this and that. Yes, there are many problems to be solved, although when they are ready, they are not so easy to make.

Your comment is so nice to read. Thank You. My wife has made during many years a large amount of them and given them to relatives and friends. Last year she also gave to each one of her workmates one Christmas star. They were surprised, because they did not have any idea of her hobby. Generally people think that accountants are boring and they cannot do anything than bookkeeping. So wrong, I can prove it!
