In English:
On Saturday March 13th, 2010 we visited the exhibition of Finn Quilt when it celebrated its 20 years in Tampere. This exhibition was the biggest ever organized exhibition in Finland. I can say that there were a lot of quilts and patchworks to be seen. I am not presenting only photos from quilts and patchworks, but also from people and from selling stands.

En español:

El sábado 13 de marzo 2010 visitamos la exposición de de Guilda de Finn cuando celebró sus 20 años en Tampere. Esta exposición fue la más grande jamás organizado exposiciones en Finlandia. Puedo decir que había un montón de almazuelas a ver. No voy a presentar fotos sólo de almazuelas, sino también de personas y de la mesas de puesto.

Le samedi Mars 13th, 2010 nous avons visité á l’exposition de Quilde de Finn quand elle a célébré ses 20 ans à Tampere. Cette exposition a été la plus grande exposition jamais organisée en Finlande. Je peux dire que il y avait beaucoup de courtepointes a voir. Je ne fais pas seulement la présentation de photos de courtepointes, mais aussi des personnes et de la tables de vente.

Merci de nous présenter cette superbe exposition : on ne sait plus où donner de la tête, beaucoup sont de véritables chefs d’oeuvre.
Pour mon prochain canapé, c’est en Finlande que je viendrai choisir une courtepointe ! 😉

Absolutely wonderful work, what a skill these quilters have! I love the one with the leaves/frog, the close-ups of the detail on the strawberry flowers and mushrooms. But – I think the one of the mountains, lake and people is amazing. I thought at first the shapes were snowflakes, but then wondered if it was cherry blossom?

  Thank You. So nice to read that You liked them. This was maybe nationwide exposition for the first time. Anyway, I know that some works came from far away from the North. Also from Eastern and Western part, but most of all from Southern Finland.
  
  I stared the same picture again from which You told and now I am quite sure that the mountain is Fuji.
  
  Well, some day I’ll present next part.

All patchwork items like it very much. They contain very beautiful, interesting patterns and colors. As I mentioned before, I admire this work very much. It is associated with imagination, feeling and patience. Particularly good, I liked the article in the pictures, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 23, 24, 34, 43, 50 from top to bottom. There are colors and patterns to my taste. Picture 1 is a nice willcome for every one. The bright light I like very much, as in the other rooms I see, too. I am grateful that I was allowed to visit this site. It’s always very interesting and informative. I wish you and Anja all the best and health to your daily routes. What a beautiful collection of quilting! I love to see them and these are among the best I’ve ever seen! They are incredibly intricate and gorgeous patterns! It would be wonderful to see them in person.

I an so happy you visited my blog and now I have discovered yours! Seeing the large quilt exhibition in such beautiful surroundings was so interesting. Such bright, happy colors with fun designs. No matter where we live, isn’t it exciting that we all share that special bond of quilting.

Thank you for sharing these quilts with me. There are so many spectacular ones with crisp colors. My favorite is the one made with men’s shirt fabric and buttons.
