Pics from Finland / Imágenes de Finlandia / Imagenes de Finlande / Fotos da Finlândia

In English:

These photos I took while walking and driving around my country. Some photos are humorous, some artistic. For those who love Moomins, there are three photos. Traditional carpet washers are popular in Finland and that’s why, there are two photos. Shadoof and roundpole fence represent vanishing life on countryside. Double rainbow photos I took in Mikkeli. Last six photos are my favorite, because it was for the first time when I saw art made of the electric wire cable reels and stripped copper wire. All materials are from recycled material.

  21. What a great collection of beautiful and very different photos of your country, Matti. I love the combination of nature, culture and art. Not to forget a touch of fun an humour. Stunning the double rainbow, surprising how they use the good old beetle and quite amazing what they formed out of wire cable! Great result and real art – particularly (in my eyes) the hair of the cyling lady which looks really “hairy”.

I enjoyed your post very much. A wonderful idea to show such a colourful and diverse Finland photo album.
    Have a nice week!
