In English:

It was Sunday when we decided to make some walk on the area which we do not yet knew in our “new” home town. To reach the starting point we drove thru Mikkeli by our 13 years old car. Our route passed first alongside the Lake Pitkäjärvi (Long Lake) and later on the nature trail. My photos show to You what we saw.

I hold my camera ready when the hare, which did not saw us apparently, because we were like totem poles, when it started running rapidly towards us. Quite near it stopped and stared at us thinking that we must be people not tome poles. It pondered awhile and decided then to leg it to the forest.

I think that rabbit is wild animal, but it is wide spread in towns. In my photos You saw hare. Hare is big, but rabbit is small. I searched words in Japanes:

      Rabbit:

      Hare:
