Junior Ice Hockey

Junior Ice Hockey in Finland.

Ice Hockey is very popular in Finland. That is so natural because we have long winter with snow and ice. Many of our ice hockey players are playing in NHL in the States and in Canada. These players are inspiring young people to play ice Hockey and having dreams to play in NHL some day.

So it is also my grandson doing. He has the same dream. He started his ice Hockey when he was five years old. Now he is thirteen years old and the dream continues in his mind more and more clearly. The way to the top is long!

Ice hockey is a game where the team is important and also the skill of an individual. It requires a good coach, good ice hockey team, but also heavy commitment and not forgetting the help of parents.

My grandson is training every single day and his father is transporting him about 100 kilometers / 62 miles in his car. My grandson is doing his homework in car and he is getting on school quite good. Although my grandson Nuutti is thirteen years old he is quite tall. He is 174 centimeters / 5 feet and 8.5 inches tall. When You are looking my photos from Junior Ice Hockey, You identify Nuutti from his number 21.

  2. They are definitely really good photographs, showing the fast game of hockey. Yes, it is a long hard way to the top of the game. I am sure that Nuutti has the ability and determination to get there.

    • Hello Jackie.

Thank You, Jackie. Yes, the game is very fast. It is incredible and to take successful photos from the game is “lucky chance”, because it can be taken too late, the situation is over. I guess that I was lucky.

  3. Looks like number 21 is your favorite……..great action shots no blurring..and I love the colour…..red always looks like it’s moving even when it’s standing still…..I guess that why they use it on sport cars so much

    • Hello Sean.

Yes, 21 is my favorite, because he is my grandson. I have never been thinking “the anatomy of red color”, maybe You are so right. My neighbour has a red Audi A4 and I have a blue Opel Vectra OPC.

Photos from my Deep Blue Car

I guess that seeing red is raising the amount of our epinephrine, the blue color is calming our mind. Anyway, my Blue car is irritating some car owners, especially those power car owners, but it might be so that I am not right.🙂

    • Bonjour Anne.

Merci beaucoup.
